Another five minutes and you will arrive at The Chatsworth House Estate and Gardens, home to The Duke & Duchess of Devonshire, and one of the UK’s most famous Country Houses, renowned and revered worldwide.

From our central location, and only 10-15 minutes away, Sheffield and Chesterfield have all the many leisure and entertainment facilities you would expect from big cities. Sheffield is home to The Crucible and Lyceum Theatres, The Don Valley Sports Stadium and also The Sheffield Arena. There are many other sports, music and entertainment venues. For serious shoppers, Meadowhall is one of the countries largest indoor shopping centres whilst the city centres of both Sheffield and Chesterfield are thriving, bustling retail areas. Chesterfield’s busy markets are situated on the square beneath its famous crooked spire.

Dronfield itself is only 10-15minutes from Junction 29 of the M1, and the train station is but a two minutes walk from The Manor House, with an excellent regular service to and from major mainline stations.
